SBBWU Peshawar and LeafRex Group join hands for a brighter future! Session on Global Education Pathways and Economic Opportunities.

Peshawar, April 22, 2026 Shaheed Benazir Bhutto Women University (SBBWU), Peshawar and the Society for Skill Trainings and Development (SSTD) signed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) today to strengthen collaboration in research, skill development.

The MoU provides a broad framework for cooperation in capacity building in the field of trade, joint research on trade and the exchange of information of mutual interest. It envisages collaboration in trainings, workshops, internships, curriculum development, trade awareness initiatives and activities aimed at promoting women entrepreneurship and innovation. The MoU also seeks to enhance research, skills development and practical exposure for students and faculty, while contributing to trade development.

The agreement was formalized in a ceremony held at SBBWUP, where Prof. Dr. Safia Ahmed, Vice Chancellor, and Mr. Jawad Amin, CEO of Innovative Advisory, signed the MoU. The partnership aims to launch a "Professional Certificate in Applied HR Management" program, conduct specialized training sessions for faculty and staff, organize guest lectures and seminars, and initiate career development activities for students of University and its Affiliated Colleges.
This strategic alliance will also support joint research efforts in HR and related fields, with implementation facilitated by the Department of Management Sciences and the Affiliation & Monitoring Department, SBBWUP.

Shaheed Benazir Bhutto Women University (SBBWUP), Peshawar, in collaboration with the National Commission for Human Development (NCHD), successfully carried out awareness and training sessions under the * Each One Teaches One * initiative at the University and its affiliated colleges. The initiative, launched through an MoU signed on May 05, 2025, aims to combat illiteracy by engaging university students as volunteer teachers in their communities.
